Desires (Nafs)

Remembrance of Him ﷺ is the foundation of faith. Beggars transform into kings due to His ﷺ remembrance.

Whenever someone tries to mend what is between him and the creation, without trying to mend what is between him and God, he will achieve the opposite of that which he seeks.

The more one laughs, the less dignity will he possess. Whoever jokes (excessively) is a person who will be taken lightly. Whoever does something frequently will known by that thing. Whoever speaks often, errs often; the more often one errs, the less modesty he will possess; Whomever has a low level of modesty will also have a low level of piety; and when one has a low level of piety, then his heart dies.

Sometimes, a blessing (ni'mah) will come your way, simply because you wanted it for someone else.
